I didn’t feel that the Doctor’s check up of my teeth was very thorough. She probably spent about 90 seconds looking at them and didn’t even poke at them to see any soft spots for cavities. I also have never had my gums checked there or an oral cancer screening. I have never had a cavity, my gums are in good shape, and I don’t smoke, so these things aren’t a huge concern for me, but my husband has a history of terrible teeth/gums. He had a similar experience during his first 2 appointments. His teeth were not checked thoroughly, his gums were not checked ect. They told him both times he was doing a great job.
